There is something to be said for this aesthetic approach: keep the wardrobe classic and versatile with luxurious fabrics, and play up the accessories no matter what the season. It's not for nothing that Italy is still host to some of the world's best diamond industry tradeshows, drawing top creatives from around the world. Here are some local talents, renowned and yet to be, that you should get to know while exploring the city for your new collection of treasures.
In one of Milan’s charming residential neighbourhoods, and just ten minutes from the city centre, is the Wagner district. Nove25 silversmiths set up house among the well-known boutiques and restaurants, attracting many of Milan’s top celebrities thanks to its unique collection of jewellery for men and women. Ranging in design, from free spirit, rock’n’roll, edgy, or subtly romantic, no two pieces are alike and for just reason: each item in the collection is handcrafted by local silversmiths in a hidden atelier. Founded in 2005 by two brothers, Davide and Roberto, Nove25 is the ultimate manifestation of their desire to open a creative studio where, alongside material and technological innovation, they could offer clients an opportunity to custom design their statement pieces and infuse a style of their own. The interesting geometric shapes and high-end finish have made Nove25 synonymous with modern-day, urban Milanese jewellery.
