Set-up by two friends in 2013, Funky Brunch moves around Switzerland setting up shop in various hotels and bars. The brunch menu includes fresh juices freshly baked bread, eggs made to order, quiches, seasonal soups as well as cold meats and local cheeses. Café Restaurant du Parc des Bastions
Located below the Old Town, the Parc des Bastions is a large green area in the city centre. The park is the site of Geneva’s first botanical garden, where in the summer locals gether for concerts, plays and outdoor performances. A small scale crystal palace with chandeliers, the parks café and restaurant is located in the centre of the park, next to the giant chessboard, and offers a gourmet-style brunch and smaller portions for children. The perfect place in Geneva for breakfast combined with a bit of people watching.

La Théière qui rit (The laughing teapot)
Located in the famous Rue de la Cité in the old town of Geneva, this small, beautiful tea shop is a lovely venue in the morning. Choose between a lovely hot chocolate, different exotic teas or coffee, and try one of their famous patisseries to start the day with a smile. Lunch is also possible, but be sure to book a table as the salads and quiches are very successful and sometimes go very quickly. Near Plaine de Plainpalais, this cosy place was created by Alain Coumont, a Belgian who simply loves bread. It’s a bakery, but much more: you can go to buy bread, have breakfast, lunch or afternoon coffee.
Choose between different egg variations, fresh juices or homemade marmalades. For those who love chocolate spread, you can choose between the traditional or white versions.
