If the idea of stepping into a tranquil Asian tearoom-style space, with a wonderful selection of tea and Vietnamese cuisine, is heavenly to you, we cannot recommend Phoenix Tea highly enough. These elegant tearooms serve up elegant and delicious sweet and savory food alongside tea from Taiwan (Formosa) and Japan. Try the banana bread or the moreish rice flour pancakes. Every dish served is Instagram-worthy! There’s also a gift shop full of covetable tea-inspired items.

One of Germany’s top restaurants and listed as one of the best 500 restaurants in the world, the two Michelin starred La Fleur located in the prestigious Palmengarten (botanical gardens), is housed in an attractive Bauhaus-style building and is headed up by chef, Andreas Krolik. The menu makes for fascinating reading and unusually, there is also a full vegan menu available. Dishes like Norwegian lobster served with caviar and hazelnuts or veal sweetbreads served with truffle sauce are just some of the taste sensations on offer.
