Full Body Massage
Travelling can be tiring and stressful on your body, and to relieve and eliminate stress, a luxurious body massage is the cure. The Pearl Spa at The Four Seasons Resort is where the jet-setters and elite go to decompress and their full body massage is legendary. 90 minutes of pure bliss ensure your worries will melt away as a rich, lightly scented oud oil combined with slow strokes and firm pressure eases away tension. This deep tissue massage is the perfect combination of healing, relaxation and techniques to improve circulation.
Guests at The Pearl Spa can expect lush and spacious treatment rooms, aqua experiences including a gold tiled Jacuzzi, a thunder rain shower experience and an exquisite indoor swimming pool. The décor is inspired by the fusion of desert and sea, where you will find traditional healing rituals combined with the newest technologies, creating an unforgettable Dubai spa experience.

If you're willing to trust your hair colour to someone new, then Maria Dowling is every traveller's dream. Maria has lived in Dubai for two decades and has built a reputation as being one of the best colour technicians in town. She opened Maria Dowling salon in 2002, the first in the Middle East to specialise in hair colour. This veteran has a 4-week waiting list, so if you can't book with her, any of her colour technicians are fantastic.

A good blow-dry can turn your look from drab to fab and at Jetset stylists are the blow-dry experts. Dubai is a city where glamorous hairdos are the norm. Jetset initially launched as the region's first wash and blow-dry salon. Now, with three locations across Dubai the team is known for other hair services as well. As for the salon's décor, lets just say you'll feel like you're in a chic, retro airport. Note: the Grosvenor House location is our favourite

To nourish your skin and keep it looking fresh in the U.A.E's desert weather, the Sodashi Bespoke Facial from Talise Spa Madinat Jumeirah is top of the list. A facial peel is one of the best ways to achieve a quick, fresh-faced look. As peels involve strong chemicals, it's important to have these types of procedures performed by an expert. Our trusted dermatologist is Dr Pegah Ceric-Dehdari, M.D. at Emirates Hospital in Dubai Marina. Dr Pegha recommends various chemical peels for pigmentation, blocked pores, anti-aging, acne, and acne scars. The 30-minute AHA peel has been tried and tested and is highly recommended to achieve a youthful glow. You won't be able to stop touching your new, soft and supple skin.

Reflexology is one of my favourite treatments after a long night out in high heels. In addition to feeling great (who doesn't like a foot massage?), it's also therapeutic. The masseurs at Mary Foot Spa are the best by far. Most of the masseurs are Chinese and have a deep knowledge of the theory. It's said that points on the feet correspond to specific organs, glands, and other parts of the body. When pressure is applied to these points it stimulates the movement of energy, and helps to restore balance within the body. I always leave feeling lighter and I sleep much better after a 60-minute session of foot reflexology.

Nail care is popular in Dubai. It's inexpensive compared to Europe and you can find salons conveniently located all across Dubai. The Loft Fifth Avenue has an NYC loft apartment design with spacious with comfortable seating and friendly staff. I visited their newly open salon in the Wasl Vita mall in Jumeirah. My pedicure and French manicure took just under one hour and were both flawless.
