Jumeirah Golf Estates, Dubai
Jumeirah Golf Estates is set amidst a prestigious residential golf community located twenty-five minutes from Dubai Marina. It's undoubtedly one of the Middle East's most iconic golf clubs and home to two world-class Greg Norman-designed golf courses Fire & Earth. We recommend playing the Earth course, as it's a tournament course that hosts the DP World Tour Championship & Race to Dubai. This annual event draws a big expat crowd who come out to watch the European Tour season-ending finale. With this year's event taking place from 20 to 23 November, the course, well-manicured all year round, is especially immaculate at this time. Past winners of the event include Lee Westwood, Luke Donald, Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson. If you're not a seasoned golfer, don't worry, as the course boasts both wide fairways and several tee boxes designed for various skill levels. Earth is a distinctive course with its variations in gradient, making uphill and downhill shots the ultimate test for any keen golfer's aptitude.
