Dessert Going Pink in Dubai

The award-winning restaurant Rüya has turned one of their most popular desserts pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

by Angelina Hazzouri

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international campaign organized by major breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness of the disease and raise funds toward its cure. In light of this, Rüya Dubai has turned one of its most loved desserts “Firin Sutlaç” to a rose-colored hue for the month of October. Firin Sutlaç is a popular Turkish baked rice pudding, and Rüya’s is one of the best. This month, it is served with raspberries and floral rose flavored ice cream.

An authentic Anatolian restaurant, Rüya has won many awards for its contemporary yet traditional cuisine and remarkable atmosphere, as it is influenced by the warmth of Turkish hospitality. Dishes are designed for sharing and socialising, reflecting the true family style of an Anatolian kitchen. Discover the rich flavours of Chef Colin Clague’s culinary creations and indulge yourself in this delectable and creamy rice pudding for the month of October.
