Acclaimed British chef Jason Atherton, who has perfected his culinary skills at six 3-starred Michelin restaurants, last year brought his ‘social’ dining concept to Dubai by opening his 17th restaurant worldwide, Marina Social. Serving up fine British-Mediterranean fusion fare in a very welcome, unpretentious and sharing style, this place is certainly buzzing on the foodie front and social scene. Simply order a selection of dishes to the table and get stuck in.

What started as a small pop-up British diner in London’s Mayfair, is now a firm favourite on Dubai’s culinary circuit. It is all thanks to celebrity chef Luke Thomas and entrepreneur Mark Fuller, whose Retro Feasts combines playful and casual British childhood favourites with a dash of refined flair. Think kitsch and cool fine beachside grub.
