Named after the Cannes Film Festival’s top award, Cannes’ most famous restaurant, the 2-star La Palme d’Or, celebrated its 30-year anniversary last year. Under the leadership of chef Christian Sinicropi, the traditional French fare is amongst the best on the Riviera. With comfortable contemporary interiors, the highlight here is the terrace overlooking the famous Croisette and the Mediterranean Sea beyond, the setting providing a fully deserving match for the refined full-flavoured cuisine.

Nice: Chantecler, Negresco Hotel

With chef Jean-Denis Rieubland at its helm, the 2-Michelin-star restaurant is often referred to as the best in Nice. Offering seasonal and regional Provençal cuisine and more than 15,000 wines, the restaurant is located inside the iconic 1912-built Negresco Hotel and boasts classic French Renaissance style interiors punctuated by beautiful 18th-century woodwork.

Saint Tropez: La Vague d’Or

After spending the day snoozing at the beach, refresh and rejuvenate with chef Arnaud Donckele’s Mediterranean cuisine while gazing out at the sun set behind the fading azure waters. Situated at the Résidence de la Pinède luxury hotel, it’s the only 3-star restaurant in Saint-Tropez. Its laid-back atmosphere is the main draw for diners looking to escape the frenzy.
