1. SUP boarding at Yas Beach
Take to the turquoise waters and paddle around Yas Island. Explore the unique mangroves while getting bronzed and working on strengthening your core. Paddleboards can be hired by the hour from Noukhada, Yas Beach’s water sports partner. When you’ve come on shore, order a refreshing watermelon and cool down with a frozen drink or fresh coconut water. Yas Beach has a full service restaurant and bar as well as covered cabanas for hire. Admission is AED 50 per person weekdays and AED 100 on weekends for regular sun beds with a towel and parasol.

2. Yas Links golf course
Experience Golf like never before at Yas Links, the first links golf course to be constructed in the Middle East. The course sprawls across eighteen- holes, set against the spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf. Designed by Kyle Phillips, one of the world’s leading golf course designers, it combines unparalleled visual glory with the thrill of golf’s ultimate test. To avoid the heat, you can play as late as 9 pm.

Witness the grandeur of Abu Dhabi’s skyline from 1000 feet above the ground when you take off from Yas Marina on an aerial tour of Abu Dhabi in a seaplane with Seawings. 4. Azure Marine
Fancy being a captain of a ship? Charter your own boat with Azure Marine and set sail aboard a 24m wooden Turkish Gulet. The marina is a short boat trip away from 200 uninhabited islands, so you can take your pick. Prices start from Dhs350 per person for a sunset tour, while a private charter costs Dhs2,500 per hour with a minimum of four hours.

You can find brands like Missoni, Anya Hindmarch, Victoria Beckham, Kage and many more. Watch the latest films at VOX Cinemas or have lunch at one of their many restaurants. Luxos recommends grabbing a bite at Carluccio’s, Giraffe and Lemongrass Thai. There’s also family entertainment zone by Funworks for the kids. Yas Mall is located at the heart of Yas Island, 20 minutes from downtown Abu Dhabi and 10 minutes from the Abu Dhabi International airport.
