by 14 April 2010

14 April 2010, Milan - Jaeger-LeCoultre CEO Jérome Lambert and Australian designer Marc Newson presented their latest creation: the ATMOS 566, during the Milan Design Week.

During the 80th anniversary of the Atmos two years ago, Jaeger-LeCoultre gave designer Marc Newson a free pass to revisit their famous creation. The result was a wonderful sculpted cube of Baccarat Crystal, the Atmos 561 by Marc Newson was an immediate  success, with its sleek and contemporary lines.

This year Marc Newson collaborated once again with Jaeger-LeCoultre and the result is simply spectacular. The Atmos 566 by Marc Newson is a rare yet precious piece, it is a new classic in watchmaking and at the same time a collector's item.

The generous proportions of the case allow light to pass through the mechanical components to create a beautiful illuminating effect. The clock is limited to 28 pieces of blue and 48 of transparent Baccarat Crystal.
