Visitors will get to see unique timepieces brought specially to this event. Breguet invited the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra to perform, in addition to a gala dinner, to inaugurate the first Asian stopover of its international road show on 4th September.
The exhibition within the boutique will be divided into three sections. In the first section, you will gain insight into the relationship between Breguet and some of its most well-known customers. Prominent figures in western history such as Marie-Antoinette, Napoléon Bonaparte and Winston Churchill were all owners of Breguet timepieces, with fascinating stories to tell with each of the brand's invention. The second part is dedicated to literary figures. See the highlights of Honoré de Balzac's "Comédie Humaine"through a mysterious object that turns out to be a Breguet watch. The final section of the exhibition is without doubt Breguet's historical links with Versailles. From the day when Marie-Antoinette fell in love with the horlogical creations, to 2006 when Breguet announced the restoration of her beloved Petit Trianon, you will get to experience every memorable chapter in this enduring friendship between the two institutions.
If you missed the Breguet road show in Geneva, Basel and London earlier this year, now is your chance to see it for yourself in Shanghai!
