The color red has long been equated with meanings of love and romance. It also stands for courage, passion and beauty. For Valentine’s Day, renowned Italian leather goods brand Fendi plays with the many meanings of the color red and proposes two timepieces boasting the color – the Crazy Carats watch and the iconic Chameleon watch.
A hallmark of technical innovation and mechanical invention, the Crazy Carats Watch features a patented rolling gemstone mechanism enabling the wearer to easily change the color of the gemstone markers on the dial by turning the crown. The watch is set with 11 red topaz gemstone marks as well as blue topaz and green topaz markers and when the wearer turns the crown to 4:00, the gem markers change to reveal all red, all blue or all green topaz. A remarkable effect, the wearer is able to change the colors of the watch at any time to reflect the mood she wishes to project. The Crazy Carats Watch is Italian-designed and Swiss-made and features a sapphire caseback allowing the wearer to view the patented rolling stone mechanisms at work. It also boasts two black topaz cabochon crowns and an individual serial number engraved on the caseback to further showcase the watch’s exclusivity. The watch is also offered in a version of pink, white and blue topaz for Valentine’s Day.
Also dressed in red, the Fendi Chameleon Enamel is one of the brand’s most captivating pieces. It features an elongated curved rectangular case with the FF cut-out logo and a yellow gold tone case with lustrous red enamel inserts. The timepiece is further accentuated by a red Fendi leather strap with a Chameleon buckle as well as genuine diamond at 12:00 and 6:00 to enhance the white lacquer dial. In addition, the caseback is engraved with an individual serial number marking its unique exclusivity.
Beautiful, elegant and superbly refined, time is one of the best gifts to give – especially when it’s as graceful and articulated as this.
