New models of fine chronograph watches by A. Lange & Söhne 2012 will be presented in the brand's seven boutiques worldwide from February till May. In Saxony, watch connoisseurs and friends of the brand will be the first to experience the latest highlights of Lange’s watchmaking artistry at close quarters. Further venues and dates for the three-month tour are Tokyo (24 February to 4 March), Seoul (26 March to 1 April), Shanghai (9 to 13 April), Hong Kong (16 to 22 April) and then, on the occasion of the openings, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The central theme this year is the Lange 1 watch family, headed by the Lange 1 Tourbillon Perpetual Calendar. This is one of the three new watches for 2012 by A. Lange & Söhne. The perpetual calendar is in an unusual format, with a month indicator in the form of a ring around the dial. A small arrow at the base of the dial points to the month. Above this, there is a window that indicates a leap year. Other functions comprise an indicator on the left of the diual for the day of the week, and the marque's famous "big" date indicator. Plux a day-night indicator and a moon phase. Of course, the watch has a tourbillon, and it is also automatic. It is powered by the in-house L082.1 automatic movement, with 624 parts. A. Lange & Söhne will manufacture two versions in 2012, a limited edition of 100 units in platinum, and a non-limited version in 18-carat pink gold.
