Montblanc's watchmakers have created a masterpiece that unites Nicolas Rieussec’s traditional chronograph expertise with silicon, the latest high-tech material, to create the Montblanc Nicolas Rieussec Chronograph Silicon Escapement.

An homage to Nicolas Rieussec, who invented the world’s first chronograph in 1821. His technique of two rotating disks to “write down time” is still used today, with a fixed index on the disks to indicate the minutes and seconds recorded. This exquisite model by Montblanc is limited to 25 pieces.
