Vivienne Tam now designs hotel slippers
Now here's a pair of hotel slippers we'd pack into our luggage come check out! The Hilton Hotel Group has partnered up with the New York-based Chinese designer to create a special pair of slips exclusively for its Chinese clientele. Hilton's Huanying program (which means welcome in Mandarin Chinese) launched a year ago and is now offered in 70 hotels across 23 countries. The service includes Chinese-speaking hotel staff, Chinese breakfast items and amenities such as tea kettles, Chinese teas, Chinese TV programming and complementary slippers in the guest rooms.
The water dragon motif slippers are complimentary to Chinese guests participating in the Huanying program, while they retail for $28 USD for the rest of us in the retail shop,
