Tiffany & Co. named official fine jeweller for Great Gatsby remake
Buzz around Baz Luhrmann's 2012 film remake of the Great Gatsby is not solely reserved to its stellar cast lineup (Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Carey Mulligan to name a few). Now that Tiffany & Co. has come on board as official jeweller - what we are really anticipating from the film is the style. The 1920s was a major runway theme for spring/summer 2012 and in timely fashion, Tiffany & Co. is outfitting the actresses in period jewels inspired by their archives. We heard that Tiffany has created one-of-a-kind platinum and diamond-encrusted bracelets, rings, headpieces and long pearl necklaces for the film.
