The world's largest privately owned boat anchors at the Dubai international boat show
The world’s biggest privately owned boat has arrived at the Dubai International Boat Show, marking a spectacular start to the five day show.
The ‘Dubai’, which is 531 feet (162 metres) long, and reportedly reaches speeds of up to 26 knots, moored within the Dubai International Boat Show for the first time, providing a truly spectacular backdrop to the event.
“We are honoured and privileged that the ‘Dubai’ is here for the first time at the Dubai International Boat Show,” said Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO, Dubai World Trade Centre. “We are looking forward to an outstanding five days of great business opportunities and providing luxurious entertainment as consumer confidence gains momentum.”
The ‘Dubai’ will be moored at the Dubai Boat Show until 13 March 2010, so don’t miss the opportunity to see her at the Dubai International Marine Club – Mina Seyahi from 3pm – 9pm daily. The show is open to trade visitors and the general public.
More than 400 boats will be on display, including 27 superyachts. Leading international companies will also be announcing 15 global premiers and 25 regional premiers during the show.
Admission is AED 55 per person for all attendees without an invitation and tickets are available now from www.timeouttickets.com. Children under 12 will be admitted free and must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Access to the Marina Display Area may be restricted at certain times.
