38th Annual Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks will once again light up the NYC skyline

by 15 April 2014

Be sure to visit New York on July 4 as Macy's Department Store and New York City Mayor, Bill de Blasio, have announced that on this special day, the 38th Annual Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks will once again light up the NYC skyline. The pyrotechnic spectacle will be launched from the world-famous Brooklyn Bridge and from barges positioned on the lower East River.

Incorporating landmarks and milestones is a Macy's Fireworks signature and one-of-a-kind spectacle.  Illuminating the shores of lower Manhattan and Brooklyn with stunning effects, colours and sounds, this year's bigger-than-life display is expected to create ‘jaw-dropping’ effects, delighting millions of spectators.

Spectators are also encouraged to enjoy the full experience by tuning into radio station 1010 WINS-AM to hear the musical score to which the show is choreographed.

Spectators from coast-to-coast will also have a front row seat of the pyro in the sky by tuning into NBC's national broadcast of "Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular". In addition to the pyrotechnics, the fourth of July's most popular entertainment special will feature performances from the nation's biggest musical acts.
