This season FreyWille’s passionate new collection dives into the wealth of Russian culture to bring colour and distinction to sophisticated necks and wrists about town. The inspiration for the Passionate Russia collection by FreyWille struck one of the artists from the brand’s design team when a friend brought back a small khokhloma box from Russia as a present. The vivid wood paintings of flowers and berries, the hallmark of traditional Russian design, set forth a spurt of imagination and voila! A colourful and bold collection adorned with classical Russian imagery was born.

There are four designs inspired by Russian culture in the Passionate Russia collection. The quintessential Matryoshka dolls pictured on the design My Matryoskha are a tribute to the rejuvenating capabilities of femininity, and thus family and continuity. The Golden Kalinka necklaces and earrings present beautiful floral imagery from the magnificent nature of the Russian lands, ever-present in the country's great literature. No Russian fairytale is complete without the Glorious Firebird, depicted in precious fire enamel, encrusted with golden elements that symbolize hope and light. And the fourth design is dedicated to the classic masterpiece Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky, bringing forth the grace, drama and passion inherent in ballet.
