Cartier opens in Madrid at El Corte Inglés de la Castellana Featured

A new space dedicated to glamour

by 12 May 2011

Back in 2000, Cartier opened their second jewellery boutique in Madrid inside El Corte Inglés, located in Paseo de la Castellana.

Now, 11 years on, Cartier’s boutique at Castellana has been ‘re-inaugurated’ with a new architectural design and a new concept developed by Bruno Moinard for the shop, which has a floor area of 150 square metres. The new atmosphere was specifically designed by the French architect, who has been working on the development of the new image of Cartier boutiques for several years. The objective is to offer a very different atmosphere in which to welcome clients.

Bruno Moinard describes the new concept as “a spirit, a state of mind, a decoration, a style and environment.” He combines exceptional materials with unique and contemporary details. For refinement in its highest form, there can be no luxury bereft of surprise or wit… In the new store, everything is focused on the privileged relationship with the client to create a bond and a mutual complicity. Cartier welcomes them in a warm and lively place, in a relaxed atmosphere where everyone can feel perfectly at home at the House of Cartier.

The new boutique consists of various rooms, all with comfortable interiors and unique décor and furniture. Much more than just a store, more than decoration, more than retail, it is a new expression of the quintessential Cartier brand image and heritage.
