Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas Airport Terminal 1 to host largest shopping area in a Spanish airport

Avid shoppers travelling to Madrid will be happy to hear that a new Fashion luxury area, dubbed the Fashion Gallery, has opened in Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas Airport Terminal 1.

Independent from the duty free space, the Fashion Gallery spans over 1,050 square metres and offers a multi-brand shopping experience. The largest luxury shopping area in a Spanish airport, it features 21 leading brands of jewellery, watches, accessories and prêt-à-porter goods.

The Fashion Gallery is purpose built for the long-distance traveller who adores fashion and luxury goods. Fashion brands featured in the new space include Burberry, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, MaxMara, Michel Kors, Emporio Armani, Salvatore Ferragamo, Tous, Tumi and Montblanc.

Entering the shopping area through the front entrance, the iconic jewellery brands of Bvlgari and Omega can be seen at the sides, while Loewe, the Spanish luxury brand par excellence, can be found in the centre.

This space has no doubt transformed the image of the airport and the experience of the passengers.

The store façade is open, with predominant colours of black, gold, bronze and beige is accentuated by gold lighting, while the shopping area is accessed through three black-veined marble ‘catwalks’. This central area is occupied by Tag Hauer, Longines, Baume & Mercier, Hamilton, Rado, Majórica, Swarovski and precious porcelain brand Lladró, which will display its unique and special pieces.
