While Hogan’s men’s show for fall/winter 2014 was very biker, its women’s looks for the same season are lighter, more romantic and ironic. One of the most appealing traits consisted of the prints by artist Julie Verhoeven, bold and daring. While the boys are on their bikes, their girls are wearing dresses decorated with spanners, hammers and pliers. Defiinitely girls who are doing their own thing, choosing from biker jackets trimmed with cashmere fur, peacoats, suede or velvet suits, or delicate crepe chiffon dresses. Sneakers and bags are decorated with the same prints. It’s a bright and colourful collection, with lots of white and black, as well as grey, purple and dark red.

By Simon Holloway, the collection is the perfect complement to the men’s show seen earlier this year: neo-romantic, arty, easy luxury.
