French luxury footwear designer, Christian Louboutin, known internationally for his shiny, red-lacquered soles, has opened its first luxury concession stand, dedicated solely to the brand's handbags and leather goods, in one of London’s most famous department store: Harvey Nichols.
The concession stand, located on the ground floor, features a silver travertine tiled floor as well as polished brass and maple fittings designed to showcases the brand's exclusive range of handbags and small leather goods. Shelves are lined with white leather and are painted deep red underneath, a subtle reference to Louboutin's famous red soles.
Louboutin enthusiasts will be able to shop for the label’s most covetable bags, such as the Pigalle, a rectangular clutch; Sweet Charity, a leather shoulder bag featuring golden chain straps and the Panettone, a series of wallets and handbags embellished with studs and spikes.
Shoe enthusiasts will also be pleased to hear that Christian Louboutin is set to open a pop-up store in Paris later this month, and is also exploring options to open in other markets such as the US and Asia.
