Multidimensional boho chic

Just Cavalli spring/summer 2013 rocked a whole lotta white leather, shimmery pullovers, bohemian prints and backless tops. The vibe was set by the ultra cool tent venue situated right underneath Milan's Arco della Pace, a stunning sky high monument that sits perched at the top of the city's largest park. Singer Azealia Banks and DJ Solange Knowles (who was sporting a wicked afro) made an appearance in the front row setting the place alight with camera flashing before the show even began.

When the show did start, we were beyond pleased to see the return of the Cavalli boho chic with loose fitting blouses, multidimensional flowing skirts, airy cocktail dresses, sheer ponchos and super skinny pants. Shiny was the operative word with the appearance of high gloss sunglasses and sparkly white pailettes which were woven atop white leather jackets and dresses. Cavalli's affinity for print was ever evident on the softer jersey and silk looks, usually in the form of exotic streaks in bright yellow and royal blue. Of course the occasional appearance of Cavalli's infamous leopard was alive and well on dresses and boxy letterman-like jackets. The energy was high and the mix of male models and female models made for a more dynamic show. And lest we forget the shoes! Platform sandals with chunky heels in contrasting vivid colours from pink to tangerine, green and blue. The perfect street style.
