BOSS Selection

This year’s spring/summer collection by BOSS’s luxury line is a tribute to a legend. Inspired by Ernest Hemingway and colonial Cuba, where the novelist lived for several years during the 1930s and '40s, designer Kevin Lobo has adroitly reinterpreted some classic tropical styles. A double-breasted, 8-buttoned men’s suit dashingly forged from a fabric mix of wool, cashmere and silk is particularly striking. Finest materials and discreet detailing take on a leading role in this collection, in which grey, dark-blue, nuances of olive-green and brown dominate the palette.

BOSS’s updated maritime look, with its very clean and minimal aesthetic, will be very much on the scene this summer. A new twist to the iconic white-blue mix will see a splash of intense berry-red. We love the double-breasted blazer in this hue, eye-catching but not brash. Classic suede leather shoes and simple canvas sneakers complete this look to perfection.

BOSS Selection is extraordinarily well-crafted, high-end fashion for men. Once again, it is brimming with creative energy and a timeless aesthetic. It is, in a word, trendsetting.

BOSS Black Men

The BOSS Black menswear summer collection is simply stunning. Its new look is an overture to an “on the go” global lifestyle and was created for a man who will benefit from an efficient, high-performance wardrobe. This season’s BOSS Black Menswear is at once both extravagant and stylish, whether the casual outfits or the sophisticated business designs. Narrow-cut shirts in an accentuated Moonlight Blue, for example, create a fabulous look for a man. BOSS combines this trend colour with reduced greys and beige tones, or a noble black, to create beautifully balanced ensembles. Fine cotton and lightweight wool blends are the fabrics of choice.

So-called 'Weekenders' are the perfect fashion accessory. They provide a touch of straightforward chic and are inherently practical. Classic lace-ups in buttery soft leather complete this look.

BOSS Black Women

The BOSS Black women’s collection is also focused on a modern-day globetrotting lifestyle. It was inspired by contact with other cultures and revels in the colourful atmosphere of foreign lands. This is expressed by colours such as navy and pink combined with light-grey blends, bamboo, white and wasabi green. Wool-linen-silk blends are the preferred fabric along with airy stretch cotton, viscose and summer-weight suiting in pure wool. These exquisite materials are enhanced by the masterful tailoring that is synonymous with the brand.

Feminine silhouettes engender a sensual fashion that looks forward summer with an evocative feel of anticipation. The dresses of BOSS Black’s line are breathtakingly beautiful. Classically tailored pieces such as the pencil dress are refreshed to create a highly-charged appearance with attractive patterns and exciting colours. The floor length 'Diliett' dress in seductive curry-yellow has an asymmetrical neckline and is an absolute 'must have.' It is guaranteed to attract admiring stares.

The pant cuts are decidedly feminine – both the lean tailored versions and the more flowing, casual-fitting models. Skinny pants are worn with a tasteful silk top and a fashionable filigree belt.

An accessory highlight is undoubtedly the XL 'Taissa' bag in woven cotton with cognac-coloured calfskin detailing. Practical and simply wonderful. With its spring/summer 2012 collection for women, this German label has succeeded in staging a graceful and subtle lightness in a range of ensembles that can be worn on any occasion.
