Zanellato - the Postina bag rings the changes on postmen Featured

Modern reinterpretation of an iconic Italian symbol
by 28 March 2012

The Postina bag, originally created by Franco Zanellato in the 1990s, has been brought to new heights of chic, becoming a women's accessory in glorious colour. Made in silky-soft leather, it features the endearingly simple lock, based on the bags that Italian postmen carried mail around in during the 1950s. A great example of an inspiration that becomes a trend-setting style. Developing and evolving. You can find them in Milan, at the Zanellato boutique in Via Savona 43.
