Luxos was lucky enough to preview Jimmy Choo’s new collection for mens fall/winter 2011-2012 which was impressively extensive. This season there is something for every man from classic dress boots to scandalous evening slippers all exuding an air of confidence, masculinity and style, qualities we have come to expect from Jimmy Choo’s vision.

Blending timeless Italian craftsmanship represented in the fine materials used, with a mod British style, works to achieve a versatile collection combining elegance and rock with just a hint of Bond.

The collection includes more formal styles such as side zip dress boots, lace-ups, monk straps, loafers and evening slippers and also more rugged, casual styles with biker boots, chelsea boots and trainers. Rugged suede, exotic prints, sueded soles, luggage stitching and pewter hardware are amongst some of the lavish features that are present in the new collection.

Our favourites? The classic gentleman’s loafer with a butted stitch detail and luggage stitching in hand burnished calf, cognac colour, the epitome of refinement.

For the ruggedly masculine, the biker boot with English pewter buckles, lined with shearling in black rugged suede.

The lace-up high top trainers in charcoal wool/cashmere and flannel, with gritty white soles and lined in shearling for the casually cool.

Also worthy of a mention is the uniquely rich port-coloured rugged suede available in the monk strap, side zip dress boot and trainer style.

Last but definitely not least, bringing some scandalous style to the collection, the bond-esque evening slipper in the unique Jimmy Choo ‘Porno Paisley’ velvet jacquard. Upon closer observation one would notice the hidden burlesque silhouettes, handcuffs and whips. Wow!
