The S/S 2011 collection from Bally is clearly focused on accessories. In fact, the clothes were even described as accessories to the accessories. The shoes and bags are clearly the stars this season.
Creative directors Graeme Fidler and Michael Herz reached back into Bally’s own archives, drawing inspiration from designs from the 1930s and 1950s. Influenced by the surrealism of avant-garde art, and the strength and intelligence of nature, Fidler and Herz created a shoe collection that combines interesting shapes, with diverse materials and exceptional detailing, like interlaced leather and brushed gold.
The bag collection is both modern and practical, the highlight of which is the architectural Riviera bag in sharkskin and outlined in primary colors of yellow, blue, red and green.
