Hermès spring/summer 2013 had the leather gods are smiling upon it, and justly so considering the Hermès woman this spring is dressed head to-toe-in the supple material. Leather shorts, leather tops, dresses, trenches- you name it and they did it. Whether the crocodile chiffon, a leather so soft it is workable like chiffon, or the buttery suede, the pieces by Christophe Lemaire this season are gorgeous and wearable. Straying from the traditional aesthetic of Hermès, this collection is fresh and young, with an 80s vibe, as seen in the oversized sleeves on a multi-coloured jacket, and the geometric print on the new Kelly bag. The shoes this season are also killer, with a pointed toe and chic wedge heel;  the new staple every fashionista needs.
