Ballin - Marilyn heels

This special edition is uncanny in its visual accuracy with respect to Marilyn Monroe. The material evokes the seductive white dress that Marilyn wore in The Seven Year Itch. The shoe design itself comes from the Ballin archives, a 1960s model, actually very similar to the shoes that Marilyn wore in the film. The company's creative director Roberto Barina has created a contemporary version, with narrow strap around the ankle, and a curving heel. The material is a silvery kidskin. Red-lipsticked lips provide a note of colour hinted at every step. The 'Marilyn' edition will be on sale in Ballin brand stores and other selected boutiques in Italy and Europe from September 2012.
