MILAN - Tory Burch now has a home for her eponymous brand in Italy's fashion capital. The designer inaugurated her swanky new Milan showroom on Monday night with a trendy cocktail hour soiree. Outfitted in the label's signature orange, the space will serve as the European headquarters for Burch's expanding commerical operation.

Those ballerina flats and accessories with the gilded TB insignia have already claimed the hearts of North American fashionistas, and now they are steadily making their way onto the  European scene. The designer already has one flagship boutique on Rome's Via del Babuino, 65 and another on London's New Bond Street, while also being sold in a ton of multibrand emporiums throughout Europe and the Middle East.

We caught up with Burch at the launch where she voiced her enthusiasm over her new piece of real estate and the Belpaese. "I love Italy, I can understand Italian, but I want to learn the language." When we asked about the possibility of a Milan boutique she replied with an optimistic, "I hope." So do we Tory, benvenuta!
