Alexander McQueen's e-commerce site has received a complete makeover with new features such as a "My McQueen" area allowing users to access archive McQueen images, shipping to 30 countries including France, Italy and Norway while it also offers a separate scarf boutique. Delving into the social media forum, the site includes online pin board Pinterest which allows users to create their own curated pages and share it via social networks. Many brands in the e-commerce sector, including Karl Lagerfeld with karl.com are jumping on the "personal" band wagon striving to create a more imtimate experience for users so they feel they are getting to know the brand and the designer on a more personal level.
