Never was a brand more synonymous with winter wear than Bally with over 160 years of experience under its belt. Designed with Swiss expertise, the new men's collection is stylish and practical. Inspired by 'a life lived outdoors', Creative Directors Michael Herz and Graeme Fidler's attention to technical detail shows in the foldover leather bags, boots and outerwear that hold their own against the elements.

Urban travel is at the forefront with plenty of new shoe and handbag models built to serve all situations, as well as revisited classics of the Swiss brand. The colour palette is decidedly dark  (black, chocolate, toffee, old silver, old gold and bronze)

The presentation of the new collection took place in a stunning Renaissance-era apartment on Milan's prestigious Corso Venezia. Tech mixed with old world in the apartment rooms where one dining hall was dressed up to look as though it belonged in 1850. A specially dressed table paid homage to the company's founding family with a different period shoe placed on the dish corresponding to each family member's placecard. Another room featured Bally's made to order Scribe men's shoes with special touch-screens where we could test out the online order system to designing a made to order shoe. Just design the shoe online and bring it to a Bally boutique where you're order will be sent to be designed. A special plus we loved was a personalized cigar humidifer that the shoes arrive in - talk about the perfect gift for the man who has everything.
