Rock royalty with a touch of military. Backstage today at Ermanno Scervino we got a first look at the heavily layered looks Scervino is sending the boys out in for next fall/winter. Surrounded by curious journalists, Scervino called one of his models – Alexis – over to demonstrate the workmanship behind his ensemble. All crafted with the brand’s exclusively made wools which go through a special cooking process – Scervino is a designer who is just as focused on the technology of the materials as their wearability.

The collection is ideal for a man who wants to be elegant even in the day-to-day. Heavy sweater coats, English-inspired argyle, Prince of Wales check and pied-de-poule prints make for a great outdoor wardrobe. Dark olive, brown and eggplant for the top and white trousers for the bottom – these seemed to be the most fluid of colour choices for Mr. Scervino’s latest collection.

Where men should wear these pieces: Travel, Weekend, Hunting, Sailing
