Paris-based fashion house Christian Dior has a shiny new international flagship in Beijing’s Shin Kong Place. Leading up to launch, Dior spent nearly two years curating a special collection of dedicated art works, all inspired by their iconic Lady Dior handbag. The result is an exhibition that coincides with the boutique launch.”Lady Dior As Seen By” runs until mid-January at the China Central Place in central square, just outside the boutique’s location in Shin Kong Place.

Peter Marino (aka the go-to flagship boutique architect) designed the 800 square metre space with a glittering façade composed of LED lights that recreate Dior’s signature ‘Cannage design’. The flagship carries the latest women’s ready-to-wear collections, accessories and watches in a private French salon-like atmosphere, while on the second floor, the gents will find their own dedicated  Dior Homme boutique.
