For the first time in Hong Kong and China, from 13 to 21 July 2011 at The Landmark in Central, a show dedicated to the Italian flag will be hosted at the Landmark Atrium, Central, Hong Kong. It is named "Expressions of style on the theme of the Italian flag," with 24 flags created by leading Italian fashion designers. The event also celebrates the 150th anniversary of Italian unity.

It is hosted at Landmark in cooperation with The Italian Consulate of Italy in Hong Kong. Mario Boselli, president of the Italian Chamber of Fashion, said, "A year after the agreement signed by our Chamber with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, relations are developing. Hong Kong holds a leadership position in today's economic and business scene."

24 of the most famous contemporary Italian stylists were invited to "dress" and interpret the Italian flag in their own style. The result is a unique exhibition representing the historical and cultural heritage of this symbol of Italian identity. The designers are: Alberta Ferretti, Albino, Blumarine, Byblos, Brioni, Costume National, Emilio Pucci, Enrico Coveri, Ermanno Scervino, Etro, Francesco Scognamiglio, Frankie Morello, Gattinoni, Iceberg, Krizia, Laura Biagiotti, Luciano Soprani, Max Mara, Missoni, Moschino, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo, and Trussardi. The collection was presented for the first time in 2004, and since then has been presented in various locations worldwide, such as Harrods in London, the Tokyo Dome, Aichi in Japan, the Italian Consulate in Istanbul, and at Gum in Red Square, Moscow.
