Roaming through Milan's most exclusive shopping quarter, a detour from the main streets of Via Manzoni, Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga will reveal some of the hidden gems and restos the locals know and love, along with an array of hot names in luxury retail.

One of the newest additions to this clique is Corto Moltedo on Via Santo Spirito, the brainchild of young, up-and-comer Gabrielecorto Moltedo, son and life-long apprentice to Laura and Vittorio Moltedo aka the power couple behind Bottega Veneta.

The location is a bright and trendy space tucked into a former city palace, the first thing you'll notice walking in is a wall of unique and colourful clutches. An elegant tail piano sits at the entrance where Saturday browsing in the shop is accompanied by a piano player.
