It looks like the super duper duo will step into the ultra exclusive world of haute couture with their first ever bespoke fashion show held on July 9th in Taormina, Sicily - far far away from the prying eyes of journalists and other cumbrous critics. This new adopted strategy by Dolce & Gabbana comes as no big surprise as their elimination of the lower priced collection D&G last year signalled a wish to focus more on high net-worth customers. Only a very select few from the mega rich elite and three news houses were worthy of an invitation to the event.
