The iconic Tod’s driving shoe has a new partner in town just in time for summer and debuting at this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan. Oki Sato’s newly unveiled Envelope Shoe took more than a year to create. The shoe employs a mix of suede and leather and comes in a variety of colours. Like an envelope that holds an important letter, Sato’s shoe is meant to make the wearer feel as if their feet have been “wrapped” in something soft and comfortable that will take them to where they want to go. In line with the classic Tod’s design, the shoe is both formal and casual without losing elegance or comfort. And for sailing enthusiasts, the shoe is also anti-slide and waterproof, ensuring for a stylish day at sea.

Oki Sato’s Envelope Shoe for Tod’s comes in blue, grey, brown, black and putty, and will be available for the current Spring/Summer 2014 season in Tod’s boutiques in Milan, Rome, Paris, London, New York, Miami, Tokyo Omotesando, Hong Kong Landmark and Shanghai IAPM/Plaza 66.
