Paris fashion houses Hermès and Christian Lacroix unveil new tablewear collections during the hectic month of January – the month when the Maison et Objet home ware show takes place in the French capital. Designed by carré silk scarf designer Benoit-Pierre Emery and entiled Rallye 24, Hermès’ vintage-style chinaware recalls the patterns of the iconic chaine d’ancre link style of the brand’s leather collection as well as resembles a colorful racing track on 49 pieces of tableware. Through an entirely different theme, Christian Lacroix reveals its first porcelain line along four themes including watercolor stripes, parades of butterflies or black and white stripe patterns, thus allowing the owner to mix and match each piece according to their preferences.
