China is the second largest market for Ferrari and the iconic Italian automaker has satisfied the Chinese uber-exclusive clientele with special editions specifically made for the country including the limited edition Ferrari 458 Italia.
But now China’s clientele will be able to get their Ferraris personalised according to their own taste as the Italian automaker has now opened Asia’s first Ferrari Tailor-Made Centre in Shanghai. The brand-new centre is located on West Beijing Road, one of the most prosperous areas in Shanghai.
To mark the opening of the new centre, Ferrari has introduced two special tailor-made V12 flagship models to share the legendary brand spirit in Chinese cultural way – F12berlinetta Polo Edition and FF Dressage Edition, with the Year of the Horse logo on the steering wheel and centre console. And as 2014 is also being celebrated as the Year of the Horse according to the Chinese calendar, it makes the timing of the launch even better.
The F12 Berlinetta Polo Edition features a white and blue theme. The body is painted in the colour of Bianco Italia Opaco with special design of navy blue racing stripes on the bonnet, while the interior carries an inverse take on the same featuring dark blue leather upholstering with white stitching, stripes and trim.
As for the Ferrari FF Dressage, this car comes with an all-black exterior, or Piano Nero, and a unique interior celebrating the Year of the Horse. The interior is trimmed in gorgeous saddle brown leather with grid pattern stitching and Horse logos sewn into it.
These increasingly popular in-house customisation programmes allow clients to specify just about any parameter they wish, so the sky is the limit.
