Rolls-Royce have held the Royal Warrant - the right to display the Royal Coat of Arms with the words "By appointment to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II motor car manufacturers" - since 1955, and from then on have continued to supply the Sovereign and other members of the Royal Family. Kate arrived at her wedding in a Rolls-Royce, and she became the first royal bride to arrive by car – Diana arrived in a glass coach drawn by six of the Queen's horses.
