Burberry Body Crystal Edition
The Body Crystal Edition is a new limited edition of the fragrance Burberry Body. Only 156 bottles have been made for the entire global market – the number is a reference to the brand's 156 years of existence from its foundation in 1856. Each bottle is crafted by hand by Baccarat, and is hand-numbered.
The bottle and crystal lid were designed by Burberry's Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey. The multi-faceted object refracts light through the piece, creating a fascinating effect of luminous patterns and enhancing the fragrance's gold colour. The scent itself is rich, feminine and sensual, with top notes of rose essence, fresh green absinthe and peach. The heart notes feature iris and intense natural rose, with warm tones of sandalwood. The base notes are tonka beans, woody cashmeran, creamy vanilla and musk.
The Burberry Body Crystal Edition will be on sale at £1,760 at Burberry stores from November.
