Dominican-American fashion designer Oscar de la Renta has launched his third fragrance – Something Blue. The floral, fruity and bridal-inspired scent boasts notes of mandarin and linden blossom as wells bourbon vanilla, white musk, stephanotis, lily of the valley and lychee. “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue,” said the designer in an interview to WWD. Not surprisingly, the perfume is inspired by romance and the special day of marriage. Just in time for the spring season, Something Blue exudes a subtle sense of passion, freshness and excitement for things to come. The bottle comes with a removable ring engraved with the designer’s signature logo thus preserving Oscar de la Renta’s never-ending and abiding mark for all who purchase the fragrance.
Something Blue is now available at Saks Fifth Avenue in 50 and 100ml Eau de Parfum with a matching candle.
