Beautiful jewellery can stand the test of time and transcend borders. How many times have you marvelled at a stunning piece of gemstone craftfully set on precious metal and wondered, “How much work does it take to make this?” Or if you are an avid collector, then you know that learning about the history of a jewellery maker is just as important as actually acquiring the sought-after pieces.

Bulgari, the Italian jewellery house par excellence, has opened a retrospective exhibition in the prestigious National Museum of China in Beijing. The show, aptly titled “Bulgari, 125 years of Italian Excellence” will showcase about 600 Bulgari masterpieces, which range from jewellery, watches and clocks, decorative objects, created ever since 18894 when Bulgari opened its very first shop in Rome.

The red carpet opening ceremony was attended by the CEO of Bulgari Group Francesco Trapani and his wife Lorenza, as well as some of Asia’s most recognized actors and models today such as Emma Pei, Pace Wu, Tang Wei and Zhang Zilin. The starlit event reflected Bulgari’s identity as an international jewellery house. Follow this link to find out all where all the Bulgari boutiques are around the world.
