General - iPhone and the Lange Zeitwerk - 29-01-2010
iPhone and the Lange Zeitwerk
The Lange Zeitwerk is a luxury watch launched in May 2009, built by A. Lange & Söhne. Its success has been such with watch lovers across the world that the manufacturers cannot keep up with production demands. In order to shorten waiting time and to offer incredible insights into this watch, the manufacturer is providing a unique service as from January 2010: the Lange Zeitwerk iPhone Application.
iPhone users can view the Lange Zeitwerk in various case colours, turning it the piece around and enlarging it by using this free application. One interesting feature is the fact that the display, bridge and time slices, as well as the plate, can be disassembled by the touch screen option, reflecting the procedures followed in manufacture by the master watchmakers of A. Lange & Söhne in their workshops.
iPhone application users will learn the latest A. Lange & Söhne news the minute it is announced by the company headquarters. The picture gallery allows them to scroll through the current collection and find details of the nearest point of sale. Furthermore; users can register their personal details for an exclusive service whereby individual hints, such as private A. Lange & Söhne events in their area, will be given. They can also contact the manufacturer directly, and order catalogues.
The application can be downloaded in any appstore or from www.lange-soehne.com.
The world of A. Lange & Söhne is also accessible directly by mobile phones - at the same address as the Lange homepage (www.lange-soehne.com).
