Amaranto, a new concept store in Milan showcasing new designers
Amaranto opened on 13 October 2011 at the Carlton Hotel Baglioni, with entrance on Via della Spiga 8 in Milan - at the heart of the fashion shopping district. Amaranto presents unique and niche products that are not distributed in traditional luxury channels. They are selected for their exclusive characteristics, and the quality materials used. The designers are principally new talents (many of whom have been selected by Vogue Italia's New Talents program). The concept was created by Maddalena Grassi Polito, boutique owner.
What Amaranto offers clients are exclusive products, the majority of them made only in Italy. They have curated a special selection of clothing, accessory and jewellery designers along with fine French lingerie and artisan jewellery. An added bonus for guests staying at Carlton Hotel Baglioni is that they can have items prepared and brought to their suite, as well as shop from the comfort of their hotel room by having a sales associate bring pieces up to them to choose from.
The designers showcased in the store are: Alessandro Oteri, Angélique Devil, Arnoldo][Battois, Rosa Clandestino, Duṧan, Rodo, Horo, Burak Uyan, Georgia Turri, Calzaturificio Ballin, Marta Ferri, Silvio Betterelli, Gianni Serra, Federica Moretti, La via delle spezie, Carlo Contrada, Moi Multiple, Fabrizio Talia, Binglabangles, Coliac, Matteo Thiela, Stephan Janson, ...di Giada Beachwear, Fabiola Pedrazzini, LeRock Jeans, Andrea Mabiani, Ileana Licari, Francisco Rosas, Roberto Avolio, Simona Tagliaferri, Raffaella di Montalban Luxury Frame, Vandrè, Ortigia, La Corona Ferrea., Bolena, and Eka Cristina Rotondaro.
