In an unrivalled position, Hotel San Regis sits between the Champs-Élysées and Avenue Montaigne.
The elegant facade and architecture plunge guests into the unique atmosphere of this former 19th century private mansion.
A sparkling haven of peace, the newly remodelled 3rd floor of the hotel was designed in an art-deco style by French designers Lucie Flouquet and Xavier Pilloton from Inter Art Etudes.
Every detail was inspired by some of the greatest names in the art and design world. The hotel’s guestrooms feature carpets inspired by Madeleine Castaing’s anchor motifs, a French antique dealer and interior designer of international renown, the pattern of the headboards is a copy of consummate artist-blacksmith of the 19th century, Edgar Brandt’s most famous art work ''Paravent L'Oasis''), as well as a reproduction of Turgot's map of Paris dating back to 1730.
Most of the fabrics are made in France and have been chosen for their high quality: Le Manach, Pierre Frey, Lelievre, Nobilis, Edmond Petit (eponymous name of the founder of this 19th century townhouse). The greatest names in interior design have also contributed to the beauty of the refurbishment: Maison Houles, Rubelli, Dedar, and Nina Campbell.
Sumptuous silk and damask fabrics combine beautifully with the exquisite antique furniture and art deco furnishings, creating an ambience of classic excellence, giving the hotel a honed refinement.
Elegance, shimmering materials and warm tones of red, gold and brownish-grey, provide for a soothing ambience in which guests can feel at home. The huge marble bathrooms have also been totally redesigned, and now include a separate tub and shower.
The hotel San Régis has also been selected among the “Top 20 International Hideaways”, the Andrew Harper Club members ranking this fine property within their favourite places to stay in the world.
The hotel San Régis, a stylish residence of 43 rooms and suites, is an independent property, privately owned and affiliated to Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The constant efforts of the Georges family, together with the attentive staff, are awarded again, proving that refinement, discreet luxury, genuineness and intimacy are still great values for upscale travellers.
