Delicious Peruvian delicacies will make their way for the first time to Dubai in
a weekend long celebration of Peruvian gastronomy and entertainment next
week from 28 February to 2 March.

Peruvian cuisine brings together influences from a variety of cultures which
arrived when European and Asian immigrants came to the continent several
centuries ago. Their cooking ingredients, traditions and customs intertwined
over the decades with those of the natives. Peruvian cuisine is now one of
the fastest gastronomic movements today receiving many accolades and
awards on an international level.

This special culinary weekend will offer classic Peruvian dishes such as
seafood ceviche and tiradito, beef anticucho, vegetarian causa and quinoa
salad, along with Peruvian juices and the renowned national grape cocktail.

The event is hosted by Madinat Jumeirah and organized by the Consulate
General and Trade and Investment Office of Peru in Dubai. The First Taste
of Peru Festival will also include a guest appearance from Peruvian chef
Christian Bravo as well as a live performance by Peru Andino, a prominent
group of Peruvian musicians coming to Dubai for the event.

The event will take place at the Souk Amphitheatre in Madinat Jumeirah
from 6pm each evening. For more information, visit jumeirah.com/
