Vinotherapy sounds immediately interesting... therapy with wine? In actual fact, it ''describes a beauty therapy process where the residue of wine making (the pips and pulp) are massaged into the skin." While wine itself has long been known to be an anti-oxidant, the pips and pulp are more recent arrivals on the wellness scene, with the pulp apparently having exfoliant properties, reducing the effects of ageing. Hotel Les Ottomans in Istanbul offers all this and more in its 2,400 square-foot spa. The luxury of the location is demonstrated by the fact that the hotel has just ten suites.

In addition to the Spa facilities, the hotel offers much more, starting from its fantastic location on the Bosphorous, with amazing views from all suites. Try the hotel... but also the unique spa treatment. Have a glass of the real stuff after.
